He was predeceased by: his former wife Kathleen A. "Kathy" Gibbons (Pineau); and his siblings, Mary Ellen Gibbons (Rafferty) and John P. Gibbons III. He is survived by: his daughters, Christy M. Nickerson (late Paul) of Woburn and Julie Schell (Robert) of Woburn; his fiancée Eileen F. Ahearn of Burlington; his siblings, Ellen Dellaia (Paul) of Woburn, Mark Gibbons (Janice) of Woburn, Joseph Gibbons (Judith) of Woburn, Susan Flood (late Bruce) and Julie Ann Gibbons; and his sister-in-law Linda Gibbons of Clarksburg. He is also survived by his children married, grandchildren began arriving and "Dad".
