He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred Sandgren and Astrid E. M. Sandgren (Liljegren); his siblings, Edith Peterson (Sandgren McIntire) and Alvan Sandgren; his wife Anne (Schacht); and his children, Dana Sandgren (Denise) of Woburn, Paul Sandgren (Michele) of Methuen, Luanne Hill (James) of Woburn and Gary Sandgren.
He is survived by: his grandchildren, Lisa Weinberg (Gabriel), Jeffrey Sandgren (Melissa), Ryan Hill, Devin Hill and Nicholas Sandgren; and his great grandchild Samuel Weinberg.
