He was predeceased by: his parents, Loretta A. Dear (McLaughlin) and Thomas E. Nelligan Jr. Dear; and his sister Nancy Hartley of Amherst, NY.. He is survived by: his child Shannon Hagel (David) of Chelmsford; his grandchildren, Ashlyn, Thomas and Caden Hagel; his siblings, Michael Nelligan (Janice) of Rowley, Kerry Casey (Jack) of Ogunquit, ME and Marybeth Connors (Robert) of Woburn; and his former wife Patricia Nelligan (Tuttle) of Nashua, NH. He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, countless cousins and friends.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 24th 2025 from 8:30 AM to 9:45 AM at the Lynch-Cantillon Funeral Home (263 Main St, Woburn, MA 01801). A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, June 24th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Charles Church (280 Main St, Woburn, MA 01801).
