Virginia Phinney Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Virginia Phinney of Woburn, Massachusetts, who passed away on December 9, 2020, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Donald C. Phinney; her children, Susan Foster (Charles) of North Andover, Nancy Phinney of Ipswich, Gail Hall (Dave) of Ipswich, Dawn Cotter of Sutton and Kathleen Salafia (Dave) of Dracut; her grandchildren, Jacquelyn Grattan, David Young, Christopher, Justin Foster, Rick, Jon DeLisle, Kaitlin Cotter and Allison Jackson; her parents, Joseph Lucas and Eileen Lucas of Woburn; her children, Sam, Kate and David Young (Elizabeth); her grandchildren, Alexandra, Harrison and Carrie Wellemeyer; her great grandchildren, Caden, Cole, Olivia and Kaitlin Cotter; and her siblings, Jean Gonsalves of Westminster, Carol Bavaro of Burlington, Mary Gelinas (Joseph) of Reading and John (James Lucas). She was also cherished by many loving nieces and nephews.

Due to COVID, arrangements will be private and under the direction of the Lynch-Cantillon Funeral Home, 263 Main St., Woburn, MA.
