He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Vera G. O'Brien (Lancaster); his children, Mary Deluca (Steven) of Reading, Patricia O'Brien (Mohammed Jamal-Eddine) of Burlington, William O'Brien (Eileen) of Westport, CT, David O'Brien (Amy) of Woburn and Jonathan O'Brien (Erin) of Billerica; his grandchildren, Alexa, Samantha, Sarah, Ameen, Samira, James, Patrick, Jenn, Lindsey, Meghan, Thomas, Matthew, Sean and Jonathan; and his siblings, David T. O'Brien (Diana) of Ohio, Dorothy Taylor (late Charles) of Tewksbury and Barbara Harris. He was also cherished by many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, October 20th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Lynch-Cantillon Funeral Home (263 Main St, Woburn, MA 01801). A funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, October 21st 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St. Anthony Church (851 Main St, Woburn, MA 01801).
Calling hours will be held in the Lynch-Cantillon Funeral Home, 263 Main Street, Woburn, on Tuesday, October 20th, from 4–7 p.m. Remembrances may be made in his memory to Impact for Autism. (https://www.impactautism.org).
