She was predeceased by: her husband Frank Balcius; her daughter Barbara; her son-in-law Kenneth Chicky; her grandson Ronald Chicky; her siblings, Peter, Frank Swedis, Mary Remeika and Eva Kosakowski; and her parents, John Swedis and Mary Swedis (Ashmanskas).

She is survived by: her son Peter Balcius; her grandchildren, Lynn Lucente (Cliff) of Queen Creek and Mark Balcius (Alana) of Gilbert, AZ; her great grandchildren, Drew and Emily Balcius; and her nephew Richard Balcius (Karen) of Worcester.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to a charity of one's choice.
