We announce the death of Anthony P. Murphy (Worcester, Massachusetts), who passed away on September 10, 2026, at the age of 99. He was predeceased by: his former wife Natalie Zois (Piccinino); his brother Charles Murphy Jr.; and his parents, Charles Murphy and Antonia Murphy (Beatrice). He is survived by: his daughters, Sandra L. Murphy of Worcester and Robin L. Murphy-Dow (William Anthony) of West Boylston; his grandchildren, Douglas H. Caves, Jr. and Sevrina M. Dow; and his siblings, Ronald J. Murphy of Auburn, MA, Lucille Piccinino of Riverside, CA, Marie Hopkins of Mount Juliet, TN, Judy Guerra of Valencia, CA and Jackie Masterson of Natick, MA. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 17th 2026 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Nordgren Memorial Chapel (300 Lincoln St, Worcester, MA 01605). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, September 17th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Anthony's memory to Saint Francis Home, Plantation Street, Worcester , MA; Notre Dame Hospice; or a Veterans organization of your choice.
