She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Dupont and Nancy Dupont-Heywood; her sons, William and Gary Spence; her granddaughter Mercedes Leanna; and her sister Carol Smith.
She is survived by: her cousins, Hazel and Ronald; her granddaughters, Monique Spence and Nicole Smith; her daughter-in-law Debra Spence; Charlene Mays. She is also survived by many cousins and friends.
