He was predeceased by: his wife Carole Vescera (Lombardi); and his siblings, Gennaro Vescera and Josephine Macaruso. He is survived by: his daughter Lorrie DeCillis (James) of Worcester; and his stepchildren, Kathleen Trainor (John) of Holden, Linda Grenache (Roger) of Holden, Jeannie Goyette of Worcester, James DiGioia of Paxton, Kevin King of Worcester and Jamie Chenard of Worcester. He is also survived by fourteen grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Mercadante Funeral Home & Chapel (370 Plantation St, Worcester, MA 01605). A funeral service will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Veterans Inc., 69 Grove St., Worcester, MA 01605, in honor of Bart's service and lifelong pride in being a veteran.
