With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Beryl Pettiford of Worcester, Massachusetts, born in Boston, Massachusetts, who passed away on July 22, 2022 at the age of 65. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her brothers, Henry G. Matthews Jr. and John B. Matthews; her granddaughter Tatyana Abrams Pettiford; and her parents, Henry Matthews and Marilyn Matthews (Ford).
She is survived by: her children, Gary Pettiford of Boston, Lisa Pettiford of Brockton, Kimberylee Martins (Nelson Martins) of Leominster, Brittney Richards of Fitchburg and Monica Anukem of Worcester; her sister-in-law Margot Matthews of Worcester; her grandchildren, Jolisa Zenny Pettiford, Jakayla C. Pettiford, Amani Pettiford, Michael A. Martins, Jordan T. Martins and Hakeem Z. Richards; and her former husband Gary C. Pettiford. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
