It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty (Chakarian) Dostourian (Worcester, Massachusetts), who passed away on January 25, 2026, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parent Krikor Chakarian; and her siblings, Dorothy Asadoorian, Jerry Chakarian, Sylvia and Joseph.
She is survived by: her husband Harry Dostourian; her daughters, Anna Marta Dostourian and Rose Marie Gervais (Stephen); her grandson Phillip of West Boylston, MA; her daughter Jaclyn Betty Dostourian of Falmouth, MA.; her nephew Michael Asadoorian; and her niece Melanie Mercurio.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Armenian Church of Our Saviour or to the Daughters of Vartan, of which Betty was a member for 46 years.
