He was loved and cherished by many people including: his daughters, Nina Colon of Worcester and Bianca Cote (Chris) of Hoboken; his grandchildren, Oscar Colon, Amarylis Valentin and Ani Donikian; his great grandchildren, Omari and Leonel Colon; and his parents, Vincent Colon and Perfecta Colon (Padilla).
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that his last wish is honored and donations be made in Carmelo's honor to the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen Street, Framingham, MA 01701.
