He was predeceased by: his wife Angelina Flores Cruz; and his parents, Severa Santiago and Evangelista Matias. He is survived by: his sons, Cesar Matias, Jr. of Worcester, Javier Matias (Isabel) of Worcester and Alejandro Matias (Nancy) of Worcester; and his grandchildren, Maritza Ramos of Worcester, Anderson, Anthony, Saisha, Giovanni and Zuriel.
