She was predeceased by: her husband Francis Spear; her sons, Roland and Paul Spear; her siblings, Robert Battles, Florence Rogers and Ethel Battles; and her parents, Walter Battles and Wilhelmina A. Battles (Stone).
She is survived by: her children, Dana Spear (Cheryl) of North Carolina, Teresa Fulton of Arcadia, Jean Spear and Penny Litchfield of Milford; and her sisters, Mable Griffin of Bethel, VT and Hazel Bernier of Webster. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, ten great grandchildren; nine great great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the O'Connor Brothers Funeral Home (592 Park Ave, Worcester, MA 01603). A burial will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 at the Rutland Rural Cemetery (148 Main St, Rutland, MA 01543).
