He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Gilmore and Doris Gilmore (Allen). He is survived by: his wife Jeanne M. Gilmore (Gonyea); his sons, Michael Gilmore (Brenda) of Worcester and Christopher Gilmore (Jennifer) of Auburn; his grandchildren, Alyssa, Kaitlyn, Nathan and Emma; and his great grandchildren, Cameron, Charlotte and Brody. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
