He was predeceased by: his son Mark S. Penny; his daughter-in-law Janine Kudron-Penny; his brothers, Walter, Francis, Robert, William, Vincent, Fred, Joseph and Samuel Penny, Jr.; and his parents, Samuel and Harriet Penny (Sullivan).
He is survived by: his wife Helen F. Penny (Valinski); and his children, David R. Penny, Jr. and Barbara Penny. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
