He is survived by: his children, Joshua Gates of Athol, Jasmyn Gates of Auburn and Kelsey Kramer of Brockton; his girlfriend Eileen White of Worcester; his siblings, Donna Nieber (Mark) of Worcester, James Gates of Worcester and Christopher Gates of Rutland; his close friend Richie Mulhern; and his pet Mickey. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
