Donald will be remembered for the time spent with loved ones and the moments that brought joy to those around him. Friends and family will honor Donald by reflecting on shared memories and the positive influence he had in their lives. Though Donald is no longer present, the bonds he created and the experiences shared will endure. Donald’s memory will continue to be a source of comfort for all who knew him.
He was predeceased by: his daughter Mary Jane Melton; and his parents, Lawrence Peterson and Ethel Peterson (Johnson). He is survived by: his wife Jenice E. Peterson (Edgecomb); his children, Joseph Peterson (Susan) of Conway, NH, Steven Peterson (Cindy) of Newbury, NH, David Peterson (Karen) of Wolfboro, NH, Robert Peterson of Worcester and Donna Arsenault of Worcester; and his sister Susan Packard (John) of Hampton, NH. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, September 28th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Nordgren Memorial Chapel (300 Lincoln St, Worcester, MA 01605). A memorial service will be held on Monday, September 28th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
