He was predeceased by: his wife Luz V. Aviles; and his parents, Guillermo Aviles and Tomasa Perez. He is survived by: his niece Grisell; his nephews, Guillo, Ariel, David and Juan; his children, Eduardo "Junior" Aviles and Mary Luz Aviles (Robert Garcia); his grandchildren, Brenda, Jarelis, Samantha and Eduardo Jancel; and his siblings, Gilberto, Edwin, Jorge, Manuel, Guillermo, Miguel Angel, Antonio, Maria, Sonia, Minerva and Nancy. He is also survived by nieces and nephews and many extended family.
