He is survived by: his children, Edward J. Gill, Jr. (Maureen), Thomas J. Gill (Julie) of La Plata, MD, Timothy K. Gill of Coventry, CT, Mary E. Gill of Richmond, VA and Nancy M. Gorneau (Michael) of Richmond, VA. He is also survived by nine grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
