He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Stein and Pearl Stein; his wife Sylvia; his son Jeffrey; and his siblings, Sidney Stein, Alice Zaner, Dorothy Stein and Frances Goldstein.
He is survived by: his girlfriend Linda Lavigne; his children, Howard Stein (Garie), Randy Stein (Merle) and Wendi Stein (Brian Yarwood); his grandchildren, Jordan (Suzana), Joshua (Ashley), Eric (Alissa), Aaron (Marisa), Charlie (Julia), Sophie (Schyler) and Madison; and his great grandchildren, Hunter, Liev, Parker, Samantha, Archie, Adalynn, Jesse and Sonny. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 12th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Temple Emanuel Sinai (661 Salisbury St, Worcester, MA 01609). A burial will be held on Monday, October 12th 2026 from 2:30 PM to 3:30 PM at the Worcester Hebrew Cemetery. For information about Shiva, please contact the family.
