We announce the death of Eleanor M. O'Connor (Worcester, Massachusetts), who passed away on October 28, 2026, at the age of 98. Eleanor will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Eleanor will be remembered for the impact she had on the lives of those around her. Friends, family, and colleagues will cherish their memories and the time shared. Those who knew Eleanor will remember moments of kindness, warmth, and presence. Though words cannot fully capture her life, the legacy of connections and experiences remains. Eleanor’s absence will be deeply felt by those who valued her companionship.
She was predeceased by: her brother John F. Healy; and her parents, Timothy Healy and Margaret Healy (Moynihan). She is survived by: her children, James P. O'Connor of Shrewsbury, Joan M. O'Connor of Worcester and Patricia A. Postale (Brian J. Postale) of Shrewsbury; and her granddaughters, Kerry A. Postale and Briana M. Rezende.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 2nd 2026 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Callahan Fay Caswell Funeral Home (61 Myrtle St, Worcester, MA 01608). A funeral Mass was held on Monday, November 2nd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the St. Peter's Church (929 Main St, Worcester, MA 01610).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Peter's Church.
