She was predeceased by : her husband Jan Kania; her siblings, Josef, Gertrud and Margret; and her parents, Stefan Lagoda and Antonia Lagoda.

She is survived by : her children, Mary M. Juges (William) of Northbridge, John S. Kania of Rochdale and Joseph S. Kania (Lynn) of Worcester; her grandchildren, Kari, Rebecca, Thomas, Brandon and Adam; and her great grandchildren, Elizabeth Eileen and John Joseph. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

A Mass was held on Saturday, April 20th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Our Lady of Czestochowa Church (34 Ward St, Worcester, MA 01610).
