He is survived by: his wife Marlene; and his children, Vanderlei Alves Ferreira, Kassia Rosa of Oliveira Dias, Kleber Oliveira Dias, Marcelo Oliveira Dias, Mauricio Dias (Tatiana) and Marilia Dias. He is also survived by ten grandchildren, two brothers, seven sisters, as well as many nieces, nephews, relatives, and dear friends.
