He was predeceased by: his wife Edith Jackson of Norfolk; his son Gilbert F. Jackson (Alumni); his parents, Marion L. Jackson of Worcester and Private Frederick T. Jackson of Glens Falls, NY; his grandfather Horace I. Jackson; and his siblings-in-law, Howards, Meros, Hayes, Hazards and Union.
He is survived by: his daughter Sonya D. Parris; his friends, James Gray of Worcester, Army Reserve Detachment Commander and David W. Scott; and his grandchildren, Makayla G. Parris, Grad Student, Teaching Fellow, Christopher D. Parris, Jr. and Eagle Scout. He is also survived by grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
