Georgios Savvidis Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Georgios Savvidis of Worcester, Massachusetts, who passed away on December 13, 2025. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Georgios Savvidis to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his wife Dimitra Savvidis (Vogiatzis); his siblings, Panagiotis, Savvas and Vespina; and his parents, Ioannis Savvidis and Vasiliki Savvidis (Georgiadou).
He is survived by: his children, Vasilios "Bill" Savvidis (Flora) and Kathy Alexiadis (Phil) of Holden; his siblings, Haralambos of Greece and Soultana of Germany; and his grandsons, John Alexiadis (Christine), George Savvidis, George Alexiadis (Krisanthi), Dimitri Savvidis (Carla) and Phillip Alexiadis. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 16th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Spyridon Greek Orthodox Cathedral (102 Russell St, Worcester, MA 01609). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, December 16th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
