He is survived by: his children, Nya Gavin of Dorchester, MA and Kai Gavin of Dorchester, MA; his siblings, Walter Bennett of Kingston, NY, Ronald Bennett (Marjorie) of Brooklyn, NY, Lorenzo Gibbs Sr. of Charleston, SC, Gloria Frank-Daniels (Phillip) of Lithonia, GA and Barbara Huggins of Acworth, GA; his aunts and uncles, Eddie Gavin (Wilhemena), Leroy Gavin (Blondell), Rilla Blowe, Pernell Pringle (Marion) and Rebecca Waiters; and his cousins, Pearline Dingle and Robert "Bobby" Gavin (Julie).
