With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Jean E. Violante of Worcester, Massachusetts, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 30, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Athanas Grigor and Elizabeth Grigor (Breen); and her siblings, Joseph, Patrick Legor, Eleanor Bechard, Claire Goulet, Shirley Goulet, Elizabeth "Betty" Stranieri and Joan Shooshan.
She is survived by: her sons, Dominick Violante (Jeanene) of Avon, CT. and Raymond Violante of Worcester; her grandchildren, Gina Muse (Alex) of Lakeville, MA., Mario Violante of Worcester and Leah Violante of Avon, CT.; her stepgrandson Alex Ryan of Avon, CT.; and her great grandchildren, Lex and Eva Muse.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 8th 2025 from 8:30 AM to 9:45 AM at the Saint John’s Church (40 Temple St, Worcester, MA 01604). A Mass will be held on Saturday, November 8th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location.
