It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joan E. Flagg of Worcester, Massachusetts, who passed away on January 29, 2024, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Maurice J. Ryan and Rita A. Ryan (Pelletier). She is survived by: her husband Charles E. Flagg; her children, Cathy J. Bennett (Richard) of Oxford and Chuck M. Flagg (Kathleen) of Holland; her stepchildren, William R. Smith (Beatrice) of Illinois, Phillip C. Smith (Jennifer) of Tennessee and Wendy J. Anderson of Kentucky; her sister-in-law Elizabeth Briggs (Clifford) of Oxford; and her grandchildren, Justin, Derrick, Andrew Bennett, George, Devin, Bradford Flagg, Jessica Wales, Richard Chaffee, Brian Niekirk, Heidi and Tammy Anderson. She is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren, 3 great-great grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, and good friends.
