It is with sadness that the passing of Joan Mulhearn of Worcester, Massachusetts is shared. Joan passed away on September 27, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Gerald Mulhearn; her sons, Timothy and Edward; her sisters, Dorothy Sullivan and Ruth Cushman; and her parents, Ainslie Westaver and Marion A. Westaver (Goslow) of Stephen's High School.
She is survived by: her children, Brian Mulhearn (Karen) of Worcester, Francis Mulhearn (Cheryl) of Hardwick, James Mulhearn of Brookfield, Joan Cline (Robert) of Worcester, Kathleen Belanger (Paul) of East Brookfield and Maureen Haley (Steven) of Ashburnham; and her daughter-in-law Susan Barnes. She is also survived by 25 grandchildren; 36 great grandchildren; one great great grandaughter and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the O'Connor Brothers Funeral Home (592 Park Ave, Worcester, MA 01603). A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Our Lady of the Angels Church (1222 Main St, Worcester, MA 01603).
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
