He was predeceased by: his siblings, James P., Joseph F., Mark A, Timothy C. and Denise Benoit; his nephews, Christopher Bosowski and Matthew Benoit; and his parents, Joseph W. Benoit and Patricia C. Benoit (Hallahan).
He is survived by: his children, Jon J. "Jon Boy" Benoit (Christina Zollo) of Worcester and Kristen "Dupa" Smith (Timothy) of Auburn; the mother of his children Patricia J. Collins; his siblings, Michael R. Benoit (Virginia) of Auburn, Daniel J. Benoit (Amy) of Rutland, Donna L Benoit-Simarano (John) of Worcester and Christine E. Albin (Kurt) of Shrewsbury; his sister-in-law Lynn Benoit James; and his grandchildren, Jaelynn, Trevor, Jase Smith, Aubrey Benoit and Matteo Simmone. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
