We are sad to announce that on September 14, 2019, at the age of 91, Joseph Fortier (Worcester, Massachusetts) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his siblings, Adrien Fortier, Marguerite Thibeault and Adrienne Clark; his brother-in-law Edmond Thibeault; and his parents, Joseph R. E. and Marie Jeanne Fortier (Savoie).

He is survived by: his wife Naomi Fortier (Ramsey); his children, Melody R. Fortier (Robert Gifford) of Gardner, Jeri J. Steele (John) of Rutland and Joseph J. Fortier, Jr. (Susan) of Rindge, NH; his sister Helen Courville-Popillo of Worcester; and his sister-in-law Helen Fortier of Charlton. He is also survived by nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.
