It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joseph M. Phelan of Worcester, Massachusetts, who passed away on June 22, 2025, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his brother Gerard. He is survived by: his wife Lynn (O'Connor Barrette); his siblings, James Phelan (Betty), Mary Ellen Phelan (John), Betsy Phelan (Paul), Terry Bogsted (Roger) and Peggy Phelan; his children, Luke and Rachael Phelan; his friend Bob Kissane (Jeanne); his stepchildren, Michaela Hayston and Kevin Barrette (Buzz); his siblings, Cynthia (Lou Ciavarra), Caryn O'Connor (Mike Holden) and Matt (Tracy O'Connor); his friends, Karyn, Annette, Jen O. and Brian; his grandchildren, Addie, Bo Barrette, Isla and Barrette Hayston; and also, Jen and Danny.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, July 20th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Cyprian Keyes (284 E Temple St, Boylston, MA 01505).
