He is survived by: his wife Catherine M. Rivera (Fugere); his children, Richard McDonald of Worcester, Kathleen McDonald and Trisha Fugere; his siblings, Francisco "Chico" Rivera of Worcester, Miguel "Guelo" Rivera of Worcester, Victoria Rivera of Puerto Rico, Carmen Julia of Pennsylvania, Alicia, Lavinia and Isabel Rivera of Puerto Rico; his grandchildren, Michael Newman and Serene; and his parents, Francisco Rivera and Margarita Rivera (Echevarria). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
