Julia El Houssan Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Julia El Houssan of Worcester, Massachusetts, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 3, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Asaad Azar and Laya Azar; and her siblings, George Azar, Violet Azar, Matilda Kamar, Helen Azar and Mona Azar.
She is survived by: her children, George El Houssan (Christine) of Sutton, Marc El Houssan (Mirna) of Worcester and Pascale Rizk (Rene) of Worcester; her siblings, Nicholas Azar of Lebanon and Ponse Haddad (Milad) of Toronto, Canada; her grandchildren, Andre El Houssan (Elizabeth), Julianna El Houssan, Romanda El Houssan (Abdelnour Bakkal), Pascale Zayas (Dameon), Tania El Houssan, Shantal Rizk, Elias Rizk and Charles Rizk; and her great grandchild Reyna Zayas. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, extended family.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 7th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Wednesday, October 8th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the St. George Orthodox Cathedral (30 Anna St, Worcester, MA 01604). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 8th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Saint George Orthodox Cathedral (30 Anna St, Worcester, MA 01604).
Memorial contributions in her memory can be made to: St. George's Orthodox Cathedral in Worcester and St. George's in Aita al Foukhar Bekaa Valley.
