She was predeceased by: her husband Paul Carelli; her daughter Merrilyn Peloquin; her grandsons, Eric Swenson and Patrick Herlihy; her son-in-law Earl Swenson; her siblings, Russell "Skip" Gunnarson and Phyllis Gunnarson; and her parents, Harold Gunnarson and Inez Gunnarson (Hallberg).
She is survived by: her children, Paul Carelli (Cynthia) of North Grafton, Thomas Carelli (Suzanne) of Oxford, Timothy Carelli (Bonnie) of Shrewsbury, Margaret Swenson of Worcester and Kristin Herlihy (Jim) of Worcester. She is also survived by thirteen grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
The family requests that flowers be omitted and donations in her memory be made to the Worcester County Food Bank, 474 Boston Turnpike, Shrewsbury, MA 01545.
