He was predeceased by: his parents, Cristina and Thomas; his siblings, Aida, Abilio, Irma, Margarita, Geraldo and Julio; and his son Carlos Garcia.
He is survived by: his daughters, Marisela and Lilliam Garcia; and his siblings, Carmen Lydia, Carmin, Carlos and Olga. He is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.
