With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Kathryn E. DiGioia of Worcester, Massachusetts, born in Bangor, Maine, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 11, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William "Bill" Hansen and Dorothy Hansen (Kelly); and her siblings, Paul Hansen and Carolyn Hansen. She is survived by: her husband Tommaso DiGioia; her sons, Tommaso DiGioia II (Michelle) of Worcester and Gino DiGioia (Sarah) of Charlton; her grandchildren, Nicolas, Alana and Ayla; and her siblings, Michael Hansen of Maine, Wayne Hansen of Maine and Nancy Smith of Maine. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and in-laws.
The family has asked that in lieu of flowers or donations, Kathy would want you to spend time baking something special with your family in her memory.
