He was predeceased by: his parents, Lewis J. Heirtzler and Ada Heirtzler (Heinz); and his wife Teresa M. Heirtzler (Gagliardi). He is survived by: his sons, Paul L. Heirtzler (Martha) of Vero Beach, FL, Frank J. Heirtzler (Cynthia) of Londonderry, NH and Michael G. Heirtzler (Michele) of Worcester; his grandchildren, Christina, Paul Jr., David, Leslie, Joseph, Kristen and Jessica; and his great grandchildren, Victoria, Wyatt, Andrew, Matthew, Stephen, Seth and Saturn.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Veteran's Inc., 69 Grove Street, Worcester, MA 01605.
