He is survived by: his mother Francisca Roque of Puerto Rico; and his siblings, Francisco, Ricardo Montanez of Puerto Rico, Virgen, Sonia, Cynthia, Carmen Montanez of Worcester, Wanda Montanez, Francisca Montanez of Puerto Rico and Luz Montanez of Dudley. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, relatives, and dear friends.
