While her presence may be gone, her impact lives on in the kindness shown to others and the joy found in the ordinary moments of life.

She was predeceased by: her husband Richard Lavin; her parents, John Walsh and Irene Walsh (Wheeler); and her sister Anne Brutscher of Rockville, Maryland.. She is survived by: her sons, James and Robert Lavin; and her grandchildren, John, Stephanie and Bronwyn.
