Margarita (Sanchez) Agosto Obituary

Worcester – Margarita (Sanchez) Agosto, 79, of Worcester passed away on Wednesday, March 1, 2023 in the UMass Memorial Medical Center – University Campus.

Margarita was married to the late Frustuoso Agosto and is survived by her three sons, Edwin Rivera of Puerto Rico, Jose Agosto of Pittsfield, MA and Ruben Rodriguez of Worcester, MA; 9 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.

She was born in San Juan, Puerto Rico, daughter of the late Juan Murcelo and Justina Sanhez and is also predeceased by a son, Angel Agosto as well as a brother and a sister.

Margarita loved to cook, especially for her family. She could often be found watching one of her favorite episodes of Law & Order but she was truly the happiest when she was with her family.

A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Wednesday, March 8 at 11 AM in Saint Peter's Church 929 Main St. Worcester. Alfred Roy & Sons Funeral Home 12 Hammond St. Worcester is directing arrangements.
