She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Daniel Ortiz; her children, David Ortiz (Nancy Vazquez) of Milford, NH, Jose Ortiz (Blanca Baez) of Chicopee, Luis Ortiz of Worcester, Miguel Ortiz of Worcester and Milagros "Millie" Ortiz (Gregory Calloway) of Worcester; her grandchildren, Jason, David Jr., Jenilee, Dereck, Miguel, Krystal, Tenishia, Christopher and Maxwell; her son Daniel Ortiz, Jr.; and her parents, Severo Santiago and Maria Santiago (Valentin). She was also cherished by 16 great grandchildren.
