He was predeceased by: his parents, John and Elsie (Sullivan); his daughter Geneva; and his brother John Jr.. He is survived by: his son Zach (Denise (Chadwick)); his granddaughters, Maxine and Anna; his niece Christine; and his nephew Patrick.
