Pamela J. Whitney Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Pamela J. Whitney of Worcester, Massachusetts, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 25, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Pamela shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Pamela farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her husband Scott A. Whitney; and her father Douglas Hill. She is survived by: her son Andrew S. Whitney of Worcester; her mother Theresa Hill (Bowen) of Osterville; and her siblings, Paula McGarrell (late Stephen McGarell) of Hyde Park, Patricia Hill of Framingham and Paul Hill of Gloversville, NY. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 1st 2025 from 8:30 AM to 10:00 AM at the Mercadante Funeral Home & Chapel (370 Plantation St, Worcester, MA 01605). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 1st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
