He was predeceased by: his wife Michele Heenan (MacKoul); his parents, Edward Heenan and Eunice Heenan (Hallam); and his brother James Heenan. He is survived by: his children, Neil (Jillian), Michael (Kara) and Christian (Leslie); his grandsons, Collin, Caiden, Julian and Noah; his brother John; and his girlfriend Susan Foley.
