He was predeceased by: his parents, George Barter and Barbara Barter (Lawrence). He is survived by: his daughter Amber Barter; his grandson Fox; his son-in-law Thomas; and his siblings, Elizabeth Hunt, Margery Orr, Bruce Barter, Larry Barter and Thomas Barter. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews, and three great-grand-nephews.
