He was predeceased by: his father Octavio Burgos. He is survived by: his daughter Janelle Larson; his grandson Luis; his mother Elsa Burgos (Gonzales); and his siblings, Carlos Burgos, Alcita Medina, Nidia Burgos, Eneida (Mark Laporte), Iris (Jorge Colon) and Geraldo Burgos (Zenaida). He is also survived by five nephews' seven nieces; 13 great nephews and six great nieces.
