He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Ernest Chevalier and Imelda Chevalier (Smith); his siblings, Ernest Chevalier and Virginia Johnson; his wife Germaine Chevalier (Auger); his children, Ellen Calnan (Ron), Renee Nasuti (John), Leanne Mazeika (Michael) and Robert Chevalier (Maria Popek); and his siblings, Phyllis McGovern (Martin) and Clement. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 22nd 2026 from 9:45 AM to 10:45 AM at the Our Lady of the Assumption Church (10 Waters St, Millbury, MA 01527). A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, October 22nd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Our Lady of Assumption Church (12 Waters St, Millbury, MA 01527). A committal service will be held on Thursday, October 22nd 2026 at 12:30 PM at 162 Webster St, Worcester, MA 01603.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Richard's memory to St. Joseph's Abbey Monastery, 167 N. Spencer Road, Spencer, MA 01562.
