He was predeceased by: his wife Stella (Zannotti); his parents, Henry Valentine and Rose Valentine (Maile); his siblings, Florence Kowaleski (William), Genevieve Graboski (Victor) and Henry Valentine (Marianne); his sister-in-law Gloria Poti (Emilio); and his son-in-law Gregg Needham.
He is survived by: his son Robert G. Valentine, Jr. (Caterina); his grandchildren, Lia, Gina Valentine, Lauren Shepherd (Joel), Robert Valentine (Anna), Carlo Valentine (Maggie) and Jeffrey Needham; his great grandchildren, Luca and Teo Valentine; and his sister-in-law Joanne Zannotti. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
